Latinos LOVE Farina. Why? Because is almost as good as our second favorite, avena, which is oatmeal and tastes almost the same just a lot more grainy. Farina is Cream of Wheat where all you add is water or milk, sugar and salt. Some people add an egg yolk to give it a creamy yellowish color. It is usually served warm, and is made from cereal grains. Tastes really good and it kicks your grits’ arse.
