LATINOS love Farina. Why? Because is almost as good as our 2nd favorite, avena, which is oatmeal and tastes almost the same just a lot more grainy. Farina is Cream of Wheat, where all you add is water or milk, sugar and salt. Some people add an egg yolk to give it a creamy yellowish color. It is usually served warm, and it is made from cereal grains. Tastes really yummy and it kicks your grits’ arse.
