Lin-Manuel Miranda (born January 16, 1980 in New York, NY) is a Puerto Rican writer, actor, composer, and lyricist. You may know him for his Broadway musicals—In the Heights and Hamilton. Hamilton's Broadway show is so amazing that the tickets are selling as high as $10,000 a pop.
Miranda is a Tony Award, Grammy Award, MacArthur "Genius" Award, Emmy Award and Pulitzer Prize winner among many more. He has collaborated with big stars such as Jennifer Lopez and was invited to the White House where he freestyle rapped with President Obama. Miranda is a gay rights activist and an advocate for Puerto Rico. He's happily married to his wife, Vanessa Nadal, and they have one child together.
