LATINOS love mispronouncing words. Honestly, no one is to blame. For some of us, English is our second language. And some of us *ahem* tend to have an accent. Personally, I still say shicken. It is okay, I'm not ashamed of my roots nor afraid to admit it. It's nailing down that "Ch-Sh" sound. If they don't get it, I'll simply say, "pollo mijo!" Other than that, I don't think I'm as bad as my cousin who still says, "HAPPY SANKSGIVIN!" Or this lady I know, that every time someone is mean to her she utters in the most serious tone ever, "DAS NAW NICE!"
