Puerto Rican Tech Investor, Orlando Bravo Pledges $10 Million to Help Puerto Rico. The San Francisco tech investor, is providing support to aid the island of PR after it was pummeled by hurricane Maria. Purto Rico is still struggling, but has been fortunate to have the support of its people. Bravo is one of the founders of Thoma Bravo. Thoma Bravo is a multi-billion dollar private equity firm. Bravo's bio on his organization's website states he was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. And that "He received an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a law degree from Stanford Law School and two BA degrees in Economics and Political Science from Brown University." Via the Bravo Family Foundation, Puerto Rico has received IV's, food, satellite phones, water, diapers, baby food formula and many other supplies.
