Racial Profiling is one of the most toxic practices still used by law enforcement today who target minorities just because of their race or ethnicity. The stop allows the officer to interrogate, arrest, or fine the suspect. In some cases, individuals use it to commit a hate crime and then claim self-defense. In the video above we take a look at NYPD where cops are allowed to detain someone who looks "suspicious". But 9 out of 10 times the so-called suspects tend to be people of color even when they are innocent going about their daily business. Racial profiling is one of the reasons why we're losing many youths of color allowing others to attack, incriminate, or kill those who they feel impose a threat due to the color of their skin.
