Latinos LOVE Rosca de Reyes also known as Roscón de Reyes, which is a round pastry served with hot chocolate on the evening of January 6 in celebration of El Día de los Reyes (Three Kings’ Day). Its circular shape symbolizes a king's crown. A baby Jesus figurine is usually inserted in the sweet bread and whoever gets it has to host a party on February 2 for El Día de la Candelaria (Candlemas Day). Sometimes they add another trinket and the person who finds it has to either bring dessert or split the costs of the party with the individual who found the first one. Many hope during this day to find the object because it means good luck and countless blessings ahead.
